About Stylish Stitch
The story
Stylish Stitch story begins in 2003 in Ireland. It was a home-based business, that young mother could run in addition to her housewife duties.
In 1999 when enrolled in the Fashion Design course in Tallinn (Eastern Europe) had no idea, that one day I will run a business in Australia.
In 2002 migrated to Republic of Ireland. Late 2003 started homebase sewing business. It was not easy to get your name
out there. Had my first child. Worked part time in alteration shop making curtains for them, taking orders for alteration at home and also worked as a mother full time.
Few years later my alteration business grew and it was full time job. But still was not ready for shop front. I was aware of the fact that my knowledge of alteration is not high enough to do it for public on that level.
In 2009 migrated to Australia and settled in Adelaide. Worked few years for some well known clothing alteration shop in the city centre. Gained more experience and finally were ready to do it on my own.
Opened a Studio in March 2013 when my second child was almost one years old.
